En rangeant ses archives, Georges est tombé sur une note manuscrite qui devait accompagner l’arbre généalogique réalisé par Madeleine Horst (voir la section Genéa). Dans cette note Madeleine mentionnait que Berthe avait été Gouvernante des enfants royaux au Château de Windsor sans aucune précision supplémentaire. Ci-dessous compilation des échanges sur le sujet.

-Fritz Stroh né en 1816, mariée en 1851 (épouse Bruch). Fritz son père était était l’un des frères de notre Arrière-Arrière-Grand-Père Georges – le IIIeme – (1812-1898)
–Berthe Stroh sa fille, née vers 1855-1860. Hypothèse car nous n’avons pas sa date de naissance mais je le détermine au doigt mouillé en fonction de l’age des frères et sœurs. Elle est décédée en 1938, c’est sur internet. Aucune info sur son état marital.
-On ajoute 20 ans minimum avec l’hypothèse qu’elle n’a pas pu être nounou d’enfants Royaux avant 20 ans.
-On obtient alors une date d’entrée en fonction au plus tôt vers 1875.
Donc je dirais qu’il faut chercher la prise de fonction à Windsor entre 1870 et 1925 pour faire très très large.

La recherche n’ayant rien donné le cas reste un Cold Case. Il faudrait écrire à Charles III pour résoudre l’énigme et trouver documents ou photos attestant son rôle !
